Pink Nintendo DSposted on 5 June 2010There are lots of reasons why the pink Nintendo DS Lite has become very popular for women of all ages. This is a lovely and compact handheld computer console that can be played at anytime and anywhere. When the GameBoy first arrived on the scene it was seen as a very boyish and masculine type of computer toy. Even the name would conjure up visions of boys and men battling hard to challenge each other with the excitement of whatever game was loaded up to play. These days it has been accepted and thoroughly established that girls like to play computer games too. This has been one of the reasons why so many toys have been given the feminine touch. This could be said of the lightweight and very pink Nintendo DS Lite computer game. It is based on the original Nintendo but it is much smaller and doesn't weigh as much as the bulky models that preceded it. There are different types of computer games that have been developed so you will find a whole host to choose from. You will find educational games, games that involve pets as well as games where young girls become owners of a hair salon or a dress shop. Whatever you choose to play, the pretty pink Nintendo Lite would be a very welcome toy for any girl whatever their age. Do a search online to find out the different places that you can buy one of these computer games from. You should be able to compare and contrast prices in order to find the best deal available. There are quite a few additional accessories that you can also find that will co-ordinate perfectly with your compact computer game. This would therefore make a fantastic gift idea for a friend or a loved one. Computer games like A Pink Nintendo DS Lite or a Nintendo Wii Fit are two great gift ideas for girls and women of all ages. The Nintendo DS Lite in pink is one of the many choices of Nintendo DS Lite colours that you have to select from when looking to buy a Nintendo DS lite console.Although on the face of it pink is an unlikely colour for a piece of high tech equipment, the colour scheme is very popular. So what does your Nintendo DS lite in pink give you in terms of features. Firstly, as the DS in the name suggests, it has dual or two screens - one in the lid and one in the bottom part of the console. These two screens have independent processors which opens up a whole world of possibilities when designing applications and games for the DS lite. The DS lite also has other rather unique features such as: 1) Wireless multi-player capabilities that function up to about a 30m (100ft) diameter around a player. 2) A built in microphone that allows a player to interact with some of the games. 3) A touch screen. This allows the gamer to have direct input into some games and will enhance the gaming experience as more games make use of this feature. 4) The Nintendo Wi-Fi connection which is a free online connection using wireless internet points and allows Nintendo DS users to interact in games with anyone, anywhere. So there, very briefly, are a few of the features of the Nintendo DS lite in pink - and the DS lite in black and crimson, silver, white, and blue to name but a few! The best place to find great Nintendo DS Lite deals is on the auction sites where entrepreneurs with low overheads can undercut the major retail outlets or ordinary people sell used Nintendo DS lite consoles at second hand prices. Either way, if you are looking for a cheap Nintendo DS lite, then this is where you will find them readily available. You can investigate some great Nintendo DS Lite deals and find out some of the latest news about the Nintendo DS Lite and other console systems at DS Lite News The Nintendo DSi has been selling in Japan for the past 5 months. During the first few days they sold literally hundreds of thousands of consoles, but sales have slowed down. The reasons for this have as much to do with the global recession as they do with the fact that sales always boom when a new console goes out and then slows down gradually as the early adopters have all already got one and sales seem to stabilise, at least until the holiday season. One of the ways that companies insure they continue to drum up media coverage and consumer attention is to continually release the models with slight changes and modifications. One of these changes, is to offer additional colours. This is exactly what Nintendo are well known to do, and are actually doing at the moment. When the Nintendo DSi console first launched in Japan, there were only two colours available. These were Black and White, and both of these were matted colours (i.e. none sheen). Nintendo then announced that when the Nintendo dsi was launched in the US the colours on offer would be Black and a new Blue colour, and when it launched in the UK the colours would be the same as Japan, that is, white and black. After a few months, Nintendo announced that they would be selling some new colours of the Nintendo DSi console in Japan. These colours are Pink, Blue and Lime Green. Now will Nintendo also start to offer these colours to the western markets like the UK and the USA, or will they offer different colours. It is strange why a company would offer different colours to different geographical areas. You would think that they would offer the same colours everywhere, see what sells in each area, and then optimise based on that.
